Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Our 24-Hour Notice Policy:
To better serve all of our patients and ensure everyone has access to timely care, we kindly request a 24-hour advance notice for appointment cancellations. This allows us to offer your reserved time to another patient in need of our services.
Missed Appointment Protocol:
First Missed Appointment:
If a scheduled appointment is missed, we’ll provide a courtesy call and a reminder about our missed appointment policy.
Second Missed Appointment:
Another courtesy call will be made, and a missed appointment charge will be applied to your account or credit card on file. Please note that this charge is your responsibility and is not covered by insurance or attorneys.
Continual Missed Appointments:
In cases of repeated missed appointments without 24-hour notice, you may be placed on a same-day scheduling policy for your treatments, meaning you cannot book appointments in advance.
Why We Have This Policy:
When you request an appointment, you are ensuring that a provider will be available to see you. This commitment can impact others in need of our care. Our policy aims to encourage a mutual commitment – just as we commit to being there for you, we ask that you show up for the appointments you’ve requested.
Missed Appointment Fee Schedule:
- Chiropractic Appointments: $40
- Acupuncture and Physical Therapy: $75
- Massage Therapy: Fee equivalent to the booked massage
We understand that circumstances may arise, and you have the right to appeal a missed appointment fee. To initiate the appeals process, please contact our office at 515-225-4002.
